　　1. Initial effect of industrial concentration

　　The fastener enterprises in these areas account for more than 75% of the whole country, and there have emerged leading enterprises with sales revenue of over 1 billion yuan and 200 enterprises with annual sales revenue of over 100 million yuan, as represented by Jinyi and Shanghai Biowu. These enterprises have an annual sales revenue of more than 35 billion yuan, accounting for more than 53% of the national sales revenue. There are more than 4,000 enterprises above designated size in the whole industry, accounting for 85% of the national sales revenue of fasteners. There are more than 40 enterprises with annual export foreign exchange earnings of more than 10 million US dollars, accounting for more than 60% of the national export foreign exchange earnings. It can be seen that the development of leading enterprises plays an increasingly strong role, and thus the industrial concentration has been greatly improved.

　　3. The pace of enterprise technological innovation has been accelerated

　　Fastener enterprises adhere to the road of innovation, learn foreign advanced technology and experience, accelerate the combination of modern information technology and traditional industry, and improve the level of equipment and technology of the whole industry. Enterprises have also accelerated the pace of technological innovation, forming a number of distinctive precision, special, specialized enterprises, in which high strength special fasteners account for 15%, heat treatment products account for 60%, other products account for 40%.

　　With the further intensification of market competition at home and abroad, it is inevitable to promote the outward development of enterprises. The fastener enterprises invest in foreign countries and go to the world. In addition to some traditional export markets, many enterprises have set their eyes on emerging countries. More than 10 enterprises, such as Changshu Standard Parts and Ningbo Jinding, have opened up foreign markets such as Hungary, Malaysia and Indonesia.
